In the television show Young Justice there is an alien character who says gratitude everytime he greets an Earthling publicly. Whether he was doing it for show or not, the idea is powerful. How often do we lack gratitude?
My internet was malfunctioning for a couple of days and I did not let it bother me. Why? There are always audio books and physical books to consume, particularly regarding Scripture. I have travelled to Ethiopia many times. When you see and hear abject poverty, when electricity and running water are not always available, high-speed internet is not even an after-thought. The more we know about what God provides for us, the more gratitude toward Him we should have.
We consume so much information these days that I don't know from whom I heard this phrase, but "gratitude is the right attitude".
Furthermore, we must love each other.
