I'm joined on the latest Philosophy of Art and Science by Joshua Alfaro to talk about ge'ez papers and talks he sat in on at the most recent Society of Biblical Literature gathering. He is a scholar in his own right of the Old Greek Hebrew Bible, and its daughter translations (ge’ez, Syriac, Armenian, Latin etc.).

The project at Tel Aviv University led by Dr. Dalit Rom-Shiloni to preserve the oral traditions of Beta Israel: Rescue Mission: Pioneering TAU Program Preserves Ethiopian Jewish Heritage

Joshua’s friend Dr. John Anthony Dunne has written Esther and Her Elusive God: How a Secular Story Functions as Scripture to discuss the film and novel adaptations of the Scroll of Esther.
