Salvation at Drai's Night Club
Orhtodox biblical scholar Father Paul Nadim Tarazi says that a faction of Jews during the 1st century were spiteful of Saint Paul for telling gentiles that God is willing to grant them the previously exclusive offer of eternal life. Salvation. He calls it being first in line. Our arguments are fine and dandy, but people learn from examples. Here is an example of a famous night club in Los Angeles, CA. You don't expect night clubs to help you clarify your salvation, but the Lord God works in mysterious ways, and He is almost always counter-intuitive.
Your constant faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth's labor of love, at Golgotha and Calvary, for your sake makes you righteous. There is nothing you do that can increase this righteousness. When Jesus returns (The Second Coming), everyone dead and alive will receive a judgment of eternal damnation or eternal life.
Notes
- Drai's Night Club is the Second Coming
- The people in line are people who have the utmost trust in Jesus's labor of love... Christians
- Muslims, Jews and other monotheists are on foot, in the bus and driving toward the club
- Atheists are at home watching television
- Agnostics are arguing with each other over whether or not going to the club should be the mission of the night
Notes Part 2
- Christians who respond to Jesus's labor of love with a lifetime of good thoughts, good words and good deeds are on the V.I.P. list, but the bouncer hasn't let anybody in the club yet. Everything we know says they will come into the club, but they are at the mercy of the bouncer... and who knows? What if the club catches on fire, is bombed from within, bombed from above, or the club owner decides to shut down the club?
- Alternatively, if he wants to, the club owner can let everyone in
Furthermore, we must love each other.
