Say What You Mean

I fancy myself a candid fellow. I tell the truth to shame the devil. I may not be the most honest man you know, but you will not catch me in a lie. Honesty is about elaborating on the whole story, that a person is privy to the knowledge of. Truth telling is just the accurate portrayal of inner emotions, and the statement of facts. In other words, aligning words that we say with reality. Honesty takes tremendous trust to be brought about. Truth should be the way of the land for all humans. I call upon my christian kin, brethren and sisters to tell the truth so help them God.

Things People Say, But Should Not
no offense: right be for they begin their offense
needless to say: then why did you say it?
honestly, seriously, truly, truthfully et cetera: Why is joking, jesting, kidding, and joshing around assumed before truth telling? Let us shift the burden of prefacing to the liars. Although, a liar might not be inclined to let you know that they are about to lie.

To reassure the populace that my writings are grounded in and inspired by my love of God, I reference the holy scriptures.

But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these commeth of evil. (Matthew 5:37)
