Stray from illiteracy by Emptying yourself
The entire vision will be to you like the words of a sealed scroll, which when they give it to the one who is literate, saying, “Please read this,” he will say, “I cannot, for it is sealed.” Then the scroll will be given to the one who is illiterate, saying, “Please read this.” And he will say, “I cannot read.” (Isaiah 29:11-12)
The folks who mock religion, within Christianity, are doing a disservice to themselves and their God by conforming to the world. Religion is your established practice or reflection of metaphysical beliefs. Everyone has religion, the only question is if your religion is bad or good. Let us model our religions on James 1:27.
One of the signs that I point to most often as the benefit of religion can be both a curse and a blessing. As much as is humanly possible, end on a good note. Religion encourages a culture of reading. We have holy scriptures handed down to us across sundry eras and sundry places. We have the scrolls. I fear not that we are the literate man who has a sealed scroll. I fear that we are the illiterate man who has the unveiled scroll before his eyes. The guide to living has been written for us. Why do we waste time on hobbies when the Second Coming of our Lord, the separation of the goats from the sheep, is at hand? We need to read and hear the scrolls of the Lord God more and more and more, whilst begging Him for the grace of spiritual wisdom to understand what it is that we read and hear.

who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a bondservant, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death— even death on a cross. (Philippians 2:6-8)
If the God who can play hopscotch across galaxies, and spoke to us through the prophets, can humble Himself, why are we so insolent as to not put others' interests before our own? The love we should have for our neighbors may seem far-fetched, but it is right next door if we honestly beg the Holy Spirit for His grace. Why do we fight over car seats? Why do we argue over restaurant locations? Why do we argue about Democratic leaders and Republican leaders? Why do we argue over geography? Why do we fly our green, yellow and red colors and rub it in the face of other Africans that Ethiopia was never colonized?
We transgress against our neighbors more often than we think. Young men, sexual immorality is not your only sin. Trust me. Have a broken heart and a contrite spirit, and God will show you how you trample upon your neighbors on a daily basis.
Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on us sinners, send us the grace to be liberated from the bondage of illiteracy concerning your two love commandments that we may empty ourselves as you emptied yourself, until our last breaths. Glory be to you for all things, all peoples and all times.
Furthermore, we must love each other.
