TewahidoBibleStudy and TheBibleAsLiterature Join Forces

Fr. Marc Boulos invited my TewahidoBibleStudy podcast (subscribe to it on iTunes) to join forces with the newly formed Ephesus School Network. Fr. Marc hosts TheBibleAsLiterature podcast (also on iTunes) with Hebrew scholar Dr. Richard Benton. This is good news. Renown biblical scholar NT Wright says the best path toward a genuine ecumenism has to be rooted in the Holy Bible. Folks who think they are rooted in said text have splintered into tens of thousands of denominations, and so it must be stressed that this focus on the Holy Bible must be historically aware and as accurate as is humanly possible given the divide between time and place of authorship and our time and place.

Nevertheless, our hope is to invite all peoples to eat God's life-giving scroll embodied in the love for the neighbor - especially the pariah.
