What is Indivisible?
Compulsory schooling is the enemy of diversity. The students who attend schools run and mandated by coercive governments have a way of pounding their agendas into the minds of their students. My generation in the diaspora has been made to utter the unholy phrase, as if it was one of the hymns of the Church,
one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
The pledge of an allegiance is an abomination to God, and shows a misreading or negligence to read the epistle to the Galatians. We are all one in Christ Jesus, and a religious attachment to a nation-State is unbecoming of you if you want to serve God. You cannot serve two masters, and the nation-State has diametrically opposed views to God's. Belial or Christ, Barabbas or Christ, Caesar or Christ, we cannot have both. There is nothing indivisible about the United States of America. What is indivisible? The humanity and divinity of Christ. The one holy universal and apostolic Church that is the body of Christ.
The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight (Proverbs 9:10).
This verse was inscribed on the walls of the schools in Ethiopia when my aunt's generation was in grade school. Though compulsory schooling is repulsive, her generation got the boon of one of the last, if not the last, Christian kingdom's education. Her generation knows this verse well. We should pray for God to reveal His instructions to us. Insight is not worldly. Insight is not bound to a constitution, or arbitrary borders that white male property owners have established. Insight is only from knowledge of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
Let us bow down to the creator of all that is visible and invisible, He who alone is indivisible, and plead to hear His instructions.
Furthermore, we must love each other.
