Entering the AI Art Space
Last month you read, or at least were granted access to, my two pence on human-guided AI art. Art has many facets: illustrating, singing, the written word et cetera. I excel primarily at the written word, but I strive to make incremental improvements to my singing and my illustrating more often than many would assume. AI in digital illustration is to me as the spotter is to the power lifter.
It allows me to mix my penchant for the written word with my desire to be a great generalist including illustration. You decide whether or not I am a master mixologist of the arts.
Here is my 1st attempt with DALL-E, after they graciously let me in through the glimmering gates of the digital door.
This was generated by me typing in, “synthwave background, king tewodros of abyssinia with a jetpack, bulletproof vest, and a scepter.” I originally typed in M4A1, not realizing, as I should have immediately, that the sensors and censors were on my ass.
Here’s to more, in the near near future.
